Manuel de Jesus Gonzalez, age, 88, passed away on Sunday January 21, 2018 in McAllen Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on July 31, 1929 in Las Flores Muncipio de Nadadores, Coahuila, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sabina Gonzalez (+). He is survived by his wife, Maria Celia Elizondo Gonzalez, and by his children, Maria Angelica Rodriguez, Manuel de Jesus Gonzalez Jr., Etelvina Esparza, and Hector Javier Gonzalez, Maria Celia Martinez. Also by his brothers, Manuel Esquiuel Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, and 1 sister, Socorro Ibarra, and by his 16 Grand-Children, 15 Great-Grand-Children, and numerous Nieces & Nephews. Manuel de Jesus Gonzalez was La Joya School Grounds Keeper for 20 years.
