Manuel G. Lerma, age, 66, passed away Sunday October 18, 2020 in Starr County Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 19, 1953 in Camargo,Tamps, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Maria Elena Gomez Lerma. He is survived by his wife, Magda Elia Lerma, his children, Esteban Manuel Lerma Marquez, Gabriel Lerma Marquez, Ana Karmen Lerma Marquez and Manuel Lerma Jr., Esteban Lerma. Survivors also include his 10 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. Viewing is going to be held on Wednesday October 21, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday October 22, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday October 23, 2020 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am follow burial at Saenz Cemetery in La Victoria at 10:30 am.Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
