Manuel Alanis Jr.'s Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Manuel Alanis Jr., age, 62, on Saturday, January 07, 2023 in McAllen, Texas. Manuel, was a dearly son, father, brother, uncle, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on September 04, 1960 in Los Aldamas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Manuel Alanis Sr.,+ and Evangelina Alanis+. He is survived by his loving wife, Mayra Alanis and his loving children, Gricel Rodriguez, Antonio Alanis, and Maleny Alanis. Survivors also include his loving siblings, Nora Garcia, Mario Alanis and Maria de Lourdes Alanis and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 3:00 pm. Viewing continues on Wednesday January 11, 2023 from 8:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Follow Burial in St. John's Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
