Magdaleno Aguilar Ortiz Sr., age, 91, passed away Thursday, January 07, 2021 in his residence in Garciasville, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 22,1929 in Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Antonia Aguilar and his daughters, Maria Aurora Garcia, Olga Lydia Zavala. He is survived by his wife, Maria Soledad Aguilar and his children, Maria Elena Benavidez, Concepcion Aguilar, Maria Estela Aguilar, Noelio Aguilar, Maria Esther Aguilar and Ismael Aguilar, Rose Isela Rios, Alma Soledad Tamez, Magdaleno Aguilar Jr. Survivors also include his 27 grandchildren and 36 greatgrandchildren. Viewing is going to be on Friday January 08, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday January 09, 2021 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm follow to Garciasville Cemetery at 3:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
