Macario Villarreal's Obituary
Mr. Macario Villarreal, Age, 87 passed away on Thursday May 14, 2020 at his residence in La Grulla surrounded by his family. He was born on June 30, 1932 in La Grulla to Juan Villarreal and Antonia Garcia Villarreal. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Antonia G. Villarreal his brothers Aniceto Villarreal and Gilberto Villarreal and his sister Elisa Villarreal, also by his son, Macario Villarreal Jr., and his daughter in-law Brenda Alicia Villarreal. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Evila I. Villarreal and his children, Alma (Eulalio "Lalo") Cantu, Anna Maria (Joel Jr +.) Solis, Evangelina (Justino "Justo" +) Vela, and Juana (Orlando) Cantu, Sabes (Keyry) Villarreal. Survivors also include 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and great-great-grand-children. He is also survived by his siblings, Antonia V. (Ramiro +) Solis, Juan Villarreal, Angel Villarreal. He was a wonderful, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather. He enjoyed his life with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. Funeral services are limited to immediate family only due to the Coronavirus. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 17, 2020 at Hernandez Funerals from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Visitation continues on Monday May 18, 2020 from 8:00 am to 10:30 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial Service held at Los Solis's Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:00 Am. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City.
