Lydia Longoria Guzman's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Lydia Longoria Guzman, on Monday, October 03, 2022 at the age, of 94, in Rio Grande City, Texas. Lydia, was a dearly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grand-mother, great-grand-mother, great-great-grand-mother, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Lydia, was born on April 16, 1928 in La Grulla, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ambrosio Longoria+ and Felicitas Rodriguez Longoria+ also by her loving husband, Ubaldo Guzman Sr.+ and her loving sons, Romeo Guzman+, Jesus Guzman+. She is survived her loving sons, Ubaldo (Julia) Guzman Jr., Leopoldo (Dolores) Guzman, Ricardo (Rosa Maria) Guzman, also by her loving daughters, Angelica Guzman, Elda Guzman (Oscar) Galvan, Maribel Guzman (Jeffrey) Rodriguez. Survivors also include her loving 23 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Wednesday, October 05, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday, October 06, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
