Lydia De La Cruz's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Lydia De La Cruz, on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the age, of 63, in Starr County Memorial Hospital in Rio Grande City. Lydia, was a dearly loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Lydia, was born on November 06, 1958 in Rio Grande City. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Octavio De La Cruz+, and Guadalupe Garcia De La Cruz+. She is survived by her loving son, Juan Alberto De La Cruz and her loving sister, Norma De La Cruz and her loving brother, Mauricio De La Cruz. Survivors also include her cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Wednesday August 31, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday September 01, 2022 8:00 am to 8:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 9:00 am. Follow by Cremation. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
