Lucia Acevedo de Salinas, age, 82, born in Camargo Tamaulipas on October 29, 1936, passed away on Wednesday May 08, 2019 in Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Rufino Acevedo (+) and her mother, Higinia Z. Acevedo (+), also by her 2 brothers, Ambrosio Acevedo (+), Roel Acevedo (+). She is survived by her husband, Alberto Salinas also by her daughters, Lucia Gabriela (Romeo) Rivera, Maria Claudia (Rafael G.) Saenz, Sandra Miriam (Moises) Pena. She is also survived by her siblings, Irma Acevedo de Ramirez, Rufino Acevedo, Sanjuana Alicia Acevedo de Garza, Arturo Acevedo also by her 9 grand-children, Alberto Eli Saenz, Alan Rivera, Romeo Rivera Jr., Moises Eduardo Pena Jr,. Gabriela Berenice Rivera, Claudia Alejandra Saenz, Sandra Vianey Pena, Rafael Gilberto Saenz Jr,. Priscilla Itzel Pena. Visitation will be held Friday May 10, 2019 From: 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary: 7:00 pm. Viewing Continues on Saturday May 11, 2019 From: 8:30 am to 12:45 pm going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 1:00 pm follow to St. John's Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 2:00 pm. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
