Lorenza P. Garza's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Lorenza P. Garza, on Tuesday September 07, 2021 at the age, of 67, in McAllen, Texas. Lorenza was our dearly loved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Lorenza was born on September 22, 1953 in Diaz Ordaz, Mexico to Juan Pablo Pena and Elia Mendiola Pena. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Pablo Pena + and Elia Mendiola Pena + and her sister, Silvia Arechija +. Lorenza leaves behind her loving husband, Fidelio Garza and her children, Roberto Garza, Maribel Garza, Marisela Garza. Survivors also include her siblings, Baldo Pena, Narziso Pena, Leonel Pena, Noe Pena and Juan Pablo Pena Jr., Dalia Mendoza, Sandra Flores, Deyanira Flores also by her 9 grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 09, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday September 10, from 8:00 am to 10:45 am, follow Burial at Sullivan City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in La Joya.
