Librado De La Cruz, Age, 82, passed away on Saturday March 26, 2022 in his residence in Rio Grande City surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Los Vela's Ranch, in Starr County, Texas, on February 26,1940 to Jose De La Cruz and Manuela Ramirez. He was a great father, brother, grand-father, great-grand-children, son, and a good friend to all. He will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Jose De La Cruz + and Manuela Ramirez +. He is survived by his loving wife, Paula Garcia De La Cruz and his children, Librado De La Cruz Jr., Manuela De La Cruz, and Maria Isabel De La Cruz, Luis De La Cruz. Survivors also include his 2 grand-children, 5 great-grand-children. Visitation will be on Wednesday March 30, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday March 31, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to St. Paul Church in La Puerta at 10:00 am Follow Burial at Los Vela's Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
