It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Julia Garcia Lopez, at the age of 70, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 11, 2024, in McAllen, Texas. Julia was born on June 20, 1954, in Mexico, to Luis Garcia and Maria Jesusa Mendoza Garcia. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Mario Lopez+. Julia was our dearly loved wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, cousin, niece, and friend. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Saida Tijerina, Diana Trevino, Marco A. Lopez, Mario A. Lopez and her 8 grandchildren. The Lopez Family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of her life. The visitation service will be on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City (701 E. Eisenhower Rd in Rio Grande City, 78582). Mass Service will be on Friday August 16, 2024 at Cristo Rey Church in La Victoria at 11:00 am. Followed by Burial at Saenz Cemetery in La Victoria at 12:00 pm. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
