Juana Maria Salazar's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Juana Maria Salazar on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the age of 62, in Plainview, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Juan Salazar. She will lovingly be remembered by her mother, Simona Salazar and her loving sons, Eliseo Barrera, Leopoldo Barrera Jr.,Tirzo Barrera, David Barrera also her loving daughter, Sandra Barrera. Survivors also include her brothers, Nicolas Salazar, Juan Antonio Salazar and Jorge L. Salazar, Mario Salazar also by her sisters, Maria de Jesus Salazar, Maria Isabel Salazar and Sandra Salazar. Survivors also include her grand-children, Nadine Barrera, Jayden Barrera, Eliseo Barrera Jr., Arianna Barrera, Adrian Barrera and Natalie Barrera, Andrew Barrera, Santino Barrera, Alyssa Barrera, Aaliyah Barrera as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday January 17, 2022 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm with a chapel service at 11:00 am. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 12:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
