Juan Romero, age, 69, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Edinburg Regional Hospital. He was born on April 02,1951 in San Benito, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Maria del Refugio Romero. He is survived by his wife, Maria Q. Romero and his daughters, Betsy Romero Ashiedu, Dalila Romero Pinto, Iris Elizabeth Romero and his son, Juan Romero Jr. Survivors also include his 7 grandchildren also by his brothers and sisters. Viewing is going to be on Saturday February 27, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Iglesia Emmanuel in Rio Grande City. Viewing continues on Sunday February 28, 2021 at Iglesia Emmanuel in Rio grande City from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm follow burial to St. John;s Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 12:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
