Juan Pena Hernandez, age, 100, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 in McAllen, Texas. He was born on February 09,1923 in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Juan, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, grand-father, great-grand-father, great-great-grand-father he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Maria Pena+ and Josefa Hernandez Pena+ also his wife, Elena Rios Villarreal Pena+ and his daughter, Orfila Gonzalez+. He is survived by his children, Juan Pena Jr., Orfelinda Morin, Raul Pena, Rolando Pena, and Victor Pena, Olga Rodriguez, Oralia Coello. Survivors also include his sons & daughters in laws also by his 27 grand-children, 55 great-grand-children, 7 great-great-grand-children and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Tuesday July 04, 2023 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Wednesday July 05, 2023 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to St. Paul Church in La Puerta at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
