With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Juan Jose Ortiz, age, 73, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in Rio Grande City, Texas. Juan, was a dearly son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on February 17, 1949 in Comales, Tamps, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Gregorio Ortiz+ and Benita Moreno+. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Belia Lopez de Ortiz and his loving sons, Juan Antonio Ortiz Lopez, Jose Roberto Ortiz Lopez, also by his loving daughters, Belia Alicia Ortiz Lopez, Mayra Alejandra Ortiz Lopez. Survivors also include his 9 loving grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
