Juan Lopez's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Juan Lopez on Thursday, February 03, 2022, at the age of 81, in Rio Grande City, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Basilio Lopez Vela and Petra De La Garza Lopez. He will lovingly be remembered by his loving wife, Maria Lidia S. Lopez and his children, Juan Lopez, Laura Patricia Barrientos, Olga Lidia Scott. Survivors also include his brother, Patricio Lopez his sister, Rosalba Lopez also by his 4 grand-children as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 07, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday February 08, 2022 from 8:00 am 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Starr County Cemetery in Roma at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
