Mr. Juan Jose (Coty) Gonzalez, Age, 77, passed away on Sunday April 04, 2021 at his residence in Rio Grande City surrounded by his family. He was born in Rio Grande City, Texas on November 12, 1943 to Crisoforo and Antonia Guerra Ramirez Gonzalez. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and a good friend to all. He will be dearly missed by all, He was married to Angela Castro Gonzalez. He is survived by his children, Olga (Ruben) Gonzalez Romero, Edna (Rene) Gonzalez Ramirez Jr., Jose Israel Gonzalez also by his grandson, Rene Raul Ramirez III. Visitation will be on Wednesday April 07, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday April 08, 2021 from 8:00 am to 10:45 am with a service at 10:00 am. Burial will follow to Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
