Juan Manuel Garza's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Juan Manuel "Cookie" Garza, age, 59, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in Rio Grande City, Texas. Juan, was a dearly father, son, brother, grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on February 15, 1963 in Rio Grande City, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving father, Eduardo Garza+ and his loving sister, Isabel G. Garza+. He is survived by his loving mother, Minerva Pena Garza and also by his loving daughters, Kelly Garza and Rosana Garza. Survivors also include his loving siblings, Ricardo Hugo Garza, Eduardo Javier Garza, Jorge Luis Garza, Roberto Roel Garza, and Marco Antonio Garza, Rose Marie Garza, Ann Marie Garza, Deserio Garza, Belia Garza also by his 8 grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday December 30, 2022 from 8:00 am to 12:45 pm going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 1:00 pm. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
