Joseph Walter Seale Sr.'s Obituary
We mourn the loss of our father Joseph Walter Seale Sr. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He served 2 years in the US Army as a Wpns Inf his last assignment was TRP L 3D Recon 14th Army Cav APO 171. He was very active in the community he was a member of the local Knights of Columbus, Rotary Club and Lions Club. He was very involved in Little League baseball. He was a teacher at the Rio Grande City ISD for more than 38 years. He has proceeded in death by his wife Esperanza Castillo-Seale and his oldest son Joseph Walter Seale Jr. and his youngest son Jimmy Seale. He is survived by his son Jesse Seale, his daughter Sandra Seale, his half sister Mary Jane Swann, his 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals with a service recited at 6:00 pm the same evening. Visitation will continue on Friday July 01, 2022, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla at 10:30 am. The Seale Family has entrusted the care of the funeral director and staff at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City to handle funeral arrangements.
