Josefa Fuentes' Obituary
Josefa Fuentes, age, 84, passed away on Friday May 28, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center. She was born on April 28, 1937 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Pablo Fuentes and Felipa Garza Fuentes. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo Fuentes and Felipa Garza Fuentes also by her brothers, Pablo Fuentes, Timoteo Fuentes, and her sisters, Juanita Gonzalez, Aurora Rocha. She is survived by her niece Sylvia Canales. Visitation will take place at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday June 01, 2021 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
