Jose Angel Santos Jr.'s Obituary
Jose Angel Santos Jr., age 37, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 in his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas. He was born on January 30, 1986 in Rio Grande City. Jose Angel, was a loving husband, son, and son in law, brother, nephew, and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his loving parental grandparents, +Juan Herrera and +Minerva Santos. He is survived by his parents, Jose Angel Santos and Francisca I. Sosa Santos and his wife, Maira Lizeth Cruz, his step son, Ediel Misael Gonzalez. Survivors also include his sisters, Dalia Janette Morre, Sasha Lynette Cantalapiedra and his maternal grandparents, Juan Sosa and Maria C. Sosa also by his in laws, Ovidio Cruz and Nora Cruz and his extended family, all of whom he loved dearly. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends as the great person he was. The family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. Viewing will be held on Friday September 01, 2023 from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing will continue on Saturday 8:00 am – 11:00 am. The family also invites you to accompany them in chapel service at 10:00 am. Followed by his burial at 11:30 am at Eloy Garza Memorial Cemetery in Rio Grande City. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
