Jose Pablo Marquez, age, 102, was called to eternal peace on Monday September 18, 2023 at his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 02, 1921 in Mexico. Jose Pablo, was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Jose Pablo, loved to be celebrated in any way, he was one of a kind that will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cruz+ and Ventura Marquez+ his wife, Maria Francisca Marquez+ and his son, Pedro (Higinia) Marquez+. He is survived by his children, Cruz (Elida) Marquez, Guadalupe (Criselda) Marquez, Pablo (Alma) Marquez Jr., and Elsa Marquez (Robert), Maricela Marquez, Norma Marquez (Mario). Survivors also include his 24 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing will continue on Thursday September 21, 2023 from 8:00 am – 12:45 pm. The family also invites you to accompany them to mass in honor of Jose Pablo at Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City, Texas at 1:00 pm. Followed by his burial at 2:30 pm at Family Marquez Cemetery in Rio Grande City.
