Jose Guadalupe Islas, age 73, passed away on Sunday July 9, 2017 in McAllen Heart Hospital in McAllen, Texas surrounded by his family. He was born on January 11, 1944 in Ojo de Agua in Penitas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Jacinto Islas (+) and by his mother, Maria de La Cruz BuenRostro (+). He is survived by her wife, Maria de La Paz Gutierrez Islas, and her children, Oscar Javier Islas, Yolanda Sanchez, Claudia Islas, and Jessica Islas, Marlyn Gonzalez. Also by her 11 grand-daughter, and 8 great-grand-children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
