It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jose Gonzales, who entered into eternal rest on Thursday March 21, 2024 at the age of 71, in his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas. Jose was a devoted husband, a loving father, son, brother, nephew. He will be greatly missed by his dear family and friends. Jose was born on July 01, 1953 in Harlingen, Texas to Jose and Teodora Salazar. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Mirtha Ramos and his children, Dario J. Salazar, Darriel A. Salazar, and Divanna M. Salazar. His survivors also include his cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family whom he loved dearly. Followed by Cremation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, Texas.
