Jose Guadalupe Gallegos Jr., age, 67, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Harlingen, Texas. He was born on May 18, 1956 in Rio Grande City. Jose Guadalupe, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, grand-father, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Guadalupe Gallegos Sr.,+ and Eusebia Trevino Gallegos+. He is survived by his wife, Liliana Morin Gallegos and his children, Jessica Gallegos, Myra Lee Gallegos, and Tanya Gallegos, Jose Guadalupe Gallegos III., Kimberly Gallegos, and Viviana Gallegos, Luis Enrique Ortiz. Survivors also include his grand-children, his siblings, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Friday June 16, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday June 17, 2023 from 8:00 am to 10:45 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
