Jose Diaz Benavidez's Obituary
Jose Diaz Benavidez, age 86, passed away on Friday July 31, 2020 at his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas. He was born on March 29, 1934 in Cerralvo Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He is proceded in death by his father, Jesus Benavidez and his wife, Alicia Benavidez. He is survived by his mother, and his children, Juan Antonio Martinez, Josefina Martinez, Aracely Benavidez, Elsa Benavidez, and Romeo Benavidez, Israel Benavidez, Raul Benavidez, Survivors also include 26 grand-children and 52 great-grand-daughter. Viewing is going to be held on Tuesday August 04, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Wednesday August 05, 2020 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am follow burial at St. John's Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 10:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Viewing is going to be privae. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
