Jose De La Cruz's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jose De La Cruz who entered eternal rest on Saturday April 13, 2024, at the age of 83, in Edinburg, Texas. Jose was born on March 05, 1941 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Ramon and Margarita Rocha De La Cruz. Jose was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, nephew, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Margarita Rocha De La Cruz, and her daughter, Mari Bella De Leon. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Elvira De La Cruz and his loving children, Marceal De La Cruz Bazan, David De La Cruz, Dario De La Cruz, Dionel De La Cruz, Marissa Guerra. Survivores also inculde his sliblings, Maria Rodriguez, Margarita Rodriguez, Rosa Hinojosa, Guadalupe Rocha and his 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family. The family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The visitation service will be on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2024 fro 8:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Followed by Burial at El Arroyo Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, Texas.
