Jose Guadalupe Chapa's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Jose Guadalupe Chapa, age, 60, on Wednesday, March 08, 2023 in Mission, Texas. Jose Guadalupe, was a loving son, father, husband, brother, uncle, grand-father, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on September 16, 1962 in Valadeces, Tamps, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his loving father, Ramon Chapa+. He is survived by his loving mother, Blanca Alicia Saenz Chapa, and his loving wife, Rosa Garza Chapa. Survivors also include his loving children, Jose Angel (Norma Alicia) Chapa, Guadalupe (Stephanie) Chapa Jr., and Emilia Chapa also by his 5 grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday March 11, 2023 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Precinct 3 Eloy Garza Cemetery at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
