Jorge Luis Maldonado, age, 70, passed away on Friday, July 07, 2023 in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on August 11, 1952 in General Trevino, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Jorge, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, grand-father, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo Maldonado Longoria+ and Maria Estela Ayala Aguilar+ also by his son, Jose Domingo Maldonado Vela+. He is survived by his wife, Maria Margarita Vela Maldonado and his son, Jorge Luis Maldonado. Survivors also include his 6 grand-children and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Saturday July 07, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a chapel service at 6:30 pm Follow by Cremation. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
