Jorge Luis Lopez's Obituary
Jorge Luis Lopez was born on June 20, 1962 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Leonel Lopez and Anita F. Lopez. Jorge entered into eternal rest on Saturday October 07, 2023 in McAllen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonel Lopez+. Jorge, was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, Jorge, loved to be celebrated in any way, he was one of a kind that will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Anita Flores Lopez, his wife, Noelia Cruz Lopez and his children: Lee Roy Martinez, Jorge Luis Lopez Jr., Michael Anthony (Kezia) Lopez, and Sylvia Ann Lopez. Survivors also include his grandchildren: Sebastian Yanez, Miah Martinez, Leonel Lopez, Madison Gonzalez, and Michael Rey Lopez, Nevaeh Ann Rosa. The Lopez family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Hernandez Funerals, 701 E. Eisenhower, Rio Grande City from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The recital of the holy rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm followed by a Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church in La Casita at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow to the Lopez Family Cemetery in Rio Grande City, Texas at 2:30 pm. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
