Rio Grande City TX- Jo Elda Vela Garcia, 47 died on Wednesday December 25, 2019 at her Residence in Rio Grande City. She was born on August 16,1972 in Roma, Texas to Rolando Vela & Ida Garza. She is survived by her mother, Ida Garza, and father, Rolando Vela and her step-father, Jorge Alfredo Alvarez and her husband, Jose Alfredo Garcia. She is also survived by her son, Brandon Garcia, her sister, Joanne (David) Corona and her nephew, David Corona and her niece, Scarlett Corona. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Hernandez Funerals from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday December 31, 2019 from 7:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
