Jesus Montalvo's Obituary
Jesus Montalvo, 86, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Jesus was born February 05, 1938, in Rio Grande City, Texas to Rafael and Maria Chapa Montalvo. He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Maria Olga Perez Montalvo. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, nephew, and uncle. Left to cherish his memory is his loving daughter, Cynthia (Hector) Garza; his three grandchildren, and his six great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The Montalvo and Garza Family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 20, 2024, at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The recital of the rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. Viewing will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am going to St. Paul Church in La Puerta at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at La Puerta Cemetery at 12:00 pm. The Montalvo and Garza Family has entrusted the care of the funeral director and staff at Hernandez Funerals, LLC to handle funeral arrangements.
