Jeronima G. Pena's Obituary
Jeronima G. Pena, Age, 89, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at her residence in Rio Grande City, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born on September 30, 1931, in Los Aldamas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Juan and Maria Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Maria Garcia and her husband, Trinidad Pena Sr., and her son, Trinidad Pena Jr. She is survived by her children, Hilda Villarreal, Clarita Garcia, Hermila Garza, Jesus Javier Pena and Gloria Pena Martin, Josefa Gonzalez, Maria del Pilar Pena, Santos Pena. Survivors also include and her grandchildren and her siblings. Visitation will take place at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday July 01, 2021 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
