Javier Santos Fernandez's Obituary
Mr. Javier Santos Fernandez, Age, 89 passed away on Thursday June 18, 2020 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born on May 28, 1931 in Freeport, Texas to Juan and Maria del Carmen Fernandez Santos. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria del Carmen Fernandez Santos and his wife, Josefa Salinas Santos. He is survived by his children, Hector Santos, Enrique Santos, Ricardo Santos, Graciela Santos, and Juan Santos, Anna Leticia Santos, Maria del Carmen Santos, Marisol Santos. Survivors also include 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also by his brothers, Sergio Santos, Salom Santos, Mariano Santos and his sister, Irma Santos. Funeral services are limited to immediate family only due to the Coronavirus. Visitation will be held on Friday June 19, 2020 at Hernandez Funerals from 2:00 pm to 8:30 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Visitation continues on Saturday June 20, 2020 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm with a chapel service at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial Service held at St. John's Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 12:30 pm. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City.
