Jacinto Barrera, age, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in McAllen,Texas. He was born on September 11, 1934 in Camargo, Tamps, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents, Silvestre and Margarita Barrera and his daughter, Marisela Barrera. He is survived by his wife, Leonides Barrera and his children, Victoria Barrera, Pedro Barrera, Silvestre Barrera, Norma Barrera, and Mireya Barrera, Maria Guadalupe Barrera, Jacinto Barrera Jr., and Maria Noelia Barrera, Roberto Carlo Barrera. Survivors also include his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Viewing is going to be on Friday November 20, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday November 21, 2020 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am with a chapel service at 9:00 am follow to La Casita Cemetery at 10:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
