Ismael Diaz's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Ismael Diaz. Sadly, he passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the age of 80, at McAllen, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving son, husband, father, sibling, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Ismael was born to late Ubaldo Diaz and Antonia Lopez on October 23, 1943, in Camargo, Tamps, Mexico. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elva D. Diaz and his children, Norma I. Garza, Ismael Diaz Jr., Ubaldo Diaz II, Maricruz D. Cantu, and Isabel Cristina Diaz. Survivors also include his 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. The Diaz family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The Diaz family will receive friends and family on Tuesday January 30, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals. The recital of the service will begin at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Wednesday January 31, 2024 from 8:00 am to 11:00 at with a chapel service at 10:00 am, and followed by burial at El Arroyo Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:30 am. Funeral Services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
