Irma G. De La Cruz's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Irma G. De La Cruz, age, 67, on Thursday, February 15, 2023 in Rio Grande City, Texas. Irma, was a dearly daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on September 22, 1955 in Clarksville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ramon Gracia+ and Maria Concepcion Perez Gracia+ and her loving brother, Fernando Gracia+. She is survived by her loving husband, Gerardo De La Cruz Sr., and her loving children, Gerardo (Sandra) De La Cruz Jr., Angie De La Cruz (Jose) Ortiz, and Mary Ann De La Cruz (Raul) Rivas, Francesca De La Cruz. Survivors also include her loving siblings, Arcilia Buentello, Antonia Ofelia Marroquin, Eduardo Gracia and David Gracia, Sergio Gracia also by his 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Thursday February 16, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday February 17, 2023 from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. Follow Burial at el Arroyo Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
