Irma Acevedo de Ramirez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Irma Acevedo de Ramirez, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the age, of 81, in her residence in San Juan, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Irma, was a dearly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grand-mother, great-grand-mother, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Irma, was born on April 03, 1941 in Camargo, Tamps, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her loving parents+, Rufino Acevedo Sanchez + and Higinia Zuniga Galindo de Acevedo+ also by her loving husband, Antonio Ramirez Franco+. She is survived by her loving daughters, Irma G. Ramirez (Alberto Cazares), Hilda (Conrado Jr.) Elizondo, Iliana Del Carmen (Eric) Rodriguez, and her loving son, Antonio (Grissell) Ramirez Acevedo Jr. Survivors also include her loving siblings, Rufino Acevedo, San Juana Alicia Acevedo de Garza, and Arturo Acevedo also by her 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grand-children, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Sunday August 28, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday August 29, 2022 from 8:00 am to 1:45 pm, going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 2:00 pm. Follow Burial at La Paz Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 3:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
