Irene "Nena" M. Lozano's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Irene M. Lozano (Nena), who entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the age of 95, in Rio Grande City. Nena was a devoted wife, a loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She will be greatly missed by her wonderful family and friends. Irene was born on March 04, 1929 in Viboras, Texas to Eliseo and Eusebia Muñoz. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Lozano and her sons, Roel A. Lozano, and Vicente R. Lozano. Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Pura Muñoz Lozano. Survivors include her 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family whom she loved dearly. The Lozano Family invites you to join them in a celebration of her life. The visitation service will be on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals. Viewing continues on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 8:00 am – 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am. Burial service will follow at the Roma Cemetery at 11:30 am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, Texas.
