Humberto Alvarez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Humberto Alvarez, on Friday August 26, 2022 at the age, of 87, in Starr County Nursing and Transitional Care in Rio Grande City, Texas. Humberto, was a dearly loved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, nephew and friend. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. Humberto, was born on January 13, 1935 in Santa Elena, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Ramon Alvarez + and Susana Alvarez +. Survivors include his loving wife, Esperanza B. Alvarez and his loving son, Juan Humberto Alvarez. Survivors also include his 3 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation is going to be on Monday August 29, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday August 30, 2022 from 8:00 am to 10:30 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am. Followed Burial at Family Alvarez Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
