Hortencia O. Santos' Obituary
Hortencia O. Santos, age, 83, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Mission Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 05,1937 in La Bonita, Tamps, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nestor and Elvira G. Olivarez and her husband, Juan De Dios Santos. She is survived by her children, Blanca N. Arevalo, Francisca R. Garcia, Elvira C. Garza, Josefa Lazos and Juan Angel Santos, Nestor R. Santos. Survivors also include her 17 grandchildren and 46 great-grand-children. Viewing is going to be on Friday December 18, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday December 19, 2020 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am follow to La Paz Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:15 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
