Hortencia Hernandez, Age, 70, passed away Thursday October 29, 2020 in her residence in La Casita surrounded by her family. She was born in January 11, 1950 in Mexico. She is proceded in death by her parents, Juan Hernandez and Maria Alvarado and her children, Lucero Garcia, Angelica Garcia, Ricardo Garcia. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Cecilia Menchaca, Erika Garcia. Survivors also include 8 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren. Viewing is going to be on Saturday October 31, 2020 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with a rosary at 3:30 pm follow burial at La Casita Cemetery at 4:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
