Horacio Lucio's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Horacio Lucio, age, 80, who entered eternal rest on Monday, June 24, 2024, in Baytown, Texas. Horacio was born on July 28, 1943, in Mexico. He was the son of Juan and Virginia Alvarez Lucio. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his children, Horacio Lucio Jr.+, Sonia Lucio+, Juan Manuel Lucio+. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, nephew, and uncle. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Feliciana Lazo Lucio and their children, Jesus Alberto Lucio, Angelica Lucio, Alma Ruth Lucio (Ismael) Garza, Edna Lucio (Lionel) Gracia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchildren his siblings, along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family. He always put the Lord first, and always wanted to help others. The Lucio Family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The visitation service will be on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City (701 E. Eisenhower Rd in Rio Grande City, 78582). The recital of the service will begin at 4:00 pm. Viewing will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Followed by Burial at La Paz Cemetery in Rio Grande City, Texas at 11:30 am. Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City is in charge of funeral arrangements.
