Heriberto Cantu's Obituary
Heriberto Cantu, age 34, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in Tulia, Texas. He was born on September 23, 1988 in Rio Grande City. Heriberto, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, nephew, and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his loving grandparents and father. He is survived by his mother, Amalia Vela Cantu, and his wife, Jolyne Montalvo Cantu. As well as his son, Heriberto Cantu Jr., his brothers, Lino Cantu, Edgar Garcia and Lee Roy Garcia, his niece Emma Garcia and his extended family, all of whom he loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a chapel service at 6:00 p.m. Viewing continues on Tuesday August 29, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 1:00 p.m. followed burial at La Paz Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 2:30 p.m. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
