Mr. Heraclio Barrera, Age, 95 passed away on Friday May 22, 2020 at his residence in Rio Grande City surrounded by his family. He was born on January 01, 1925 in Mexico, to Ramon Barrera and Viviana Rivera Barrera. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Viviana Barrera and his brothers, David Barrera, Benjamin Barrera, Neto Barrera, Benancio Barrera. He is survived by his wife, Hortencia Gonzalez Barrera and his children, Maria de los Angeles Rivera, San Juanita Barrera, Heraclio Barrera Jr, and Carlos Barrera, Hortencia Barrera Gonzalez, Ramon Barrera, and Jorge Barrera, Zulema Barrera Zavala, Maricruz Barrera Rodriguez. Survivors also include 29 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren also by his sisters, Zulema, Geneva, Rosabel, and his brothers, Samuel, Octaviano, Israel, Enrique Barrera. Funeral services are limited to immediate family only due to the Coronavirus. Visitation will be held on Monday May 25, 2020 at Hernandez Funerals from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Visitation continues on Tuesday May 26, 2020 from 8:00 am to 10:30 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial Service held at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:00 Am. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City.
