Hector Aurelio De La Garza's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Hector Aurelio De La Garza, on Sunday August 14, 2022 at the age, of 67, in McAllen, Texas. Hector, was a dearly loved father, son, brother, grand-father, great-grandchildren, nephew, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. Hector, was born on March 20, 1955 in Reynosa, Mexico, to Irineo Aurelio De La Garza and Maria De La Luz Mendoza. He is preceded in death by his loving parents+, and 1 loving brother+. He is survived by his loving daughters, Maria De La Garza, Iliana Elizondo, and Johanna De La Garza, Maritza De La Garza. Survivors also include his 6 loving brothers, also by his 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Wednesday August 17, 2022 from 8:00 am to 10:30 am going to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sullivan City at 11:00 am. Follow Burial at Sullivan City Cemetery at 12:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in La Joya.
