Hector Bazan's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Hector Bazan, age, 77, on Thursday, February 16, 2023 in McAllen, Texas. Hector, was a loving son, father, husband, brother, uncle, grand-father, great grandfather he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on October 09, 1945 in Rio Grande City. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Francisco Bazan and Faustina M. Bazan+ and his brothers, Mario Bazan+, Homero Bazan+, and Arnoldo Bazan+. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Concepcion Ambriz Bazan also by his loving children, Hector (Elda) Bazan Jr., Bonnie Bazan, Maria (Martin) Olivas and Gabino (Elda Ybarra) Bazan, George (Marissa) Bazan. Survivors also include his loving siblings, Maria Olga Bazan, Elia Bazan, Tomasa Bazan, and Francisco Bazan Jr., Jose Luis Bazan and his 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday February 20, 2023 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Precinct 3 Eloy Garza Cemetery in Rio Grande City. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
