Gloria Alicia Leal, Age, 60, passed away Wednesday October 28, 2020 in Starr County Memorial Hospital in Rio Grande City. She was born in January 12, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois. She is proceded in death by her father, Benjamin M. Leal and her brother, Leonel Leal. She is survived by her mother, Maria Luisa E. Leal and her husband, Francisco Escobar, daughter, Maria Adela Benavidez. Survivors also include her siblings, Benjamin Leal Jr., Alma D. Leal, Juan Gilberto Leal, and Jose Luis Leal, Ricardo Leal and 3 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren. Viewing is going to be on Friday October 30, 2020 from 2:00 am to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday October 31, 2020 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am follow burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
