Gloria Graciela Acevedo's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Gloria Graciela Acevedo, age, 54, on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital, in McAllen, Texas. Gloria, was a dearly mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on April 21, 1968 in McAllen, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Salvador Acevedo Jr+ and Ninfa Cerda Acevedo+. She is survived by her loving children, Andrew Newman, Matthew James (Staphanie) Acevedo, and Kimberly Maldonado, Tiffany Nicole Maldonado. Survivors also include her loving, brothers and sisters, and her loving grand-daughter and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday December 16, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Follow burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
