Gilberto Saenz Jr.'s Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Gilberto Saenz Jr., on Friday, October 28, 2022 in his residence in Garciasville, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Gilberto, was a dearly loving husband, father, son, brother, grand-father, great-grandfather, nephew, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on September 03, 1927 in La Casita, Starr County. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Gilberto Saenz Sr.,+ and Isabel Lopez Saenz+ also by his loving wife, Clara Bazan Saenz+. He is survived by his loving children, Manuel (Blanca) Saenz, Gilberto (Graciela) Saenz III, Arturo Saenz, Gaston (Letty) Saenz and Maria Isabel (Jose) Uribe, Pamela Saenz, Jorge (Raquel) Saenz. Survivors also include his loving siblings, Emilia (Derico) Perez, Tomasita (Arturo) Cruz, Francisco (Amparo+) Saenz and his loving 19 grand-children,31 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday, October 31, 2022 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday November 01, 2022 from 8:00 am to 10:30 am going to Our Lady of Peace Church in La Casita at 11:00 am. Follow burial at La Casita Cemetery at 12:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
